then Jesus and his disciples went into the villages around Caesarea Philippi. in the middle of the road he asked his disciples, saying, "what people saying about me?" they answered: "some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, others say: one of the prophets." he asked them: "But who do you say I am?" then petrus replied: "You are the messiah!" then Jesus told them not to tell anyone about him.
