Then Jesus at the wilderness tempted by the devil.
And after fasting forty days and forty nights, Jesus was finally hungry.
Then the devil came and said unto him, If you the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. "
But jesus answered: "It is written, Man shall not live only by bread, but by every word that comes from God."
Then the devil took Him into the holy city and placed him at the top of the temple,
and said unto him, If you the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, god will command His angels to help you, so your body do not stumble on the stone.
Jesus said to him: "It is written again, you shall not tempt the Lord your God!"
And the devil took him up again to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world,
and said to him: "All that will give to You, if You worship me."
Then Jesus said to him: "Go to hell, Satan: for it is written, you shalt worship the Lord your God, and only him you serve!"
Then the devil left Him, and angels came and ministered to him.
