In that day came John the Baptist in the wilderness of Judea and proclaim:
"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near!"
he was the prophet Isaiah meant when he said: "There are voices telling in the wilderness: Prepare the way for the Lord, make the way for Him."
John wore camel hair robe and a leather belt, and the food was locusts and wild honey.
Then came to him a resident of Jerusalem, from all over Judea and from the entire area around Jordan.
Then confessed his sins were baptized by John in the Jordan.
But when he saw many Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them: "You brood of vipers. Who is to say to you, that you can escape from the wrath to come?
So make fruit in repentance.
And do not think that you can say in heart, Abraham is our father! For I say unto you: God can make children for Abraham from these stones!
Ax is at the root of the tree and every tree that does not bear good fruit, must cut down and thrown into the fire.
I baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who comes after me is more powerful than me. He will baptize you with the Holy spirit and with fire.
Tools have been winnowing his hands. It will clear the threshing him and gather his wheat into the granary, but the dust of straw would be burned in the fire of his extinguishable not. "
Then came Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John to be baptized by him.
And Jesus answering, said unto him: "Let it be, to fulfill all righteousness from god." And john obey him.
After being baptized, Jesus immediately out from the water and at that moment heaven was opened and he saw the Spirit of God like a dove descending upon Him,
then a voice from heaven which said: "This is my beloved Son, in his I am well pleased."
