then Jesus called the twelve disciples and gave them power and authority to control the demons and to cure diseases. and jesus sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal people, he told them: "Do not take anything on your trip, do not carry a cane or wallet, bread and money, and two pieces of clothes. and if you are accepted on a house, stay there a while. and if there are people who do not receive you, get out of their town and shake off the dust from your feet as a warning to them.
