you may believe, jesus is son of god, because for you become life by your faith in jesus.

Jesus said, The light of the body is the eye [spiritual eye].

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. [Forgiveness is more than with the mouth.]

Moreover when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance; for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear to men to be fasting. Truly I say to you that they have their reward.

But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face;

So that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but only to your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves break in and steal;

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts, and where thieves do not break in or steal. [This is done by giving to the poor; not tithing, not giving to a sect — but by liberally giving to the poor. ]

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The light of the body is the eye [spiritual eye]. If therefore your eye is single, your whole body will be full of light.

But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate one, and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

Therefore I say to you, take no thought for your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Behold the fowls of the air. They neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Which of you by taking thought can add one moment to his life?

And why do you think about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin.

And yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Therefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Therefore take no thought, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or, 'What shall we drink?' or, 'With what shall we be clothed?'

For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need these.

But seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness;3 and all these things will be added to you.

Therefore do not take thought and worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will have its own concerns. Every day has enough trouble of its own."
