Jesus said, I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.

Jesus saw a tax collector, named Matthew, sitting at the tax office. Jesus said to him, "Come with me!" So Matthew got up and followed Jesus.

When Jesus was eating at Matthew's house, there came many tax collectors and people who are not well regarded by society, and eat with jesus and His disciples.

There were Pharisees who saw it. And they asked his disciples, "Why did your teacher eat with tax collectors and the people are not good?"

Jesus heard their question and then replied, "Healthy people do not need a doctor, only people who are sick.

But go and learn what these words: 'I want mercy and not sacrifice: for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners. "
