As they went on their way through Samaria to Jerusalem, a man came up to them and said that he would follow Jesus wherever he went. Jesus turned to the man and said:
The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of man has no where to lay his head.
Jesus said to another:
Follow me.
The man replied:
I will follow you, but first let me say goodbye to my relatives.
But Jesus said to him:
If a man puts his hand to the plow, and looks back he is not fit for the kingdom of God.
