Six days later Jesus took Peter with James and his brother John, to be alone at high mountain.
In front of them, Jesus was transfigured: His face became bright like the sun and his clothes glistening white.
Then all three of his followers saw Moses and Elijah talking with Jesus.
Then Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, is good for us here. If God's love, I will make three tents here: one for God, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud cover them, and the cloud came a voice saying, "This is my beloved Son. he make me happy. Listen to him!"
When the disciples heard it, they were so scared and collapsed to the ground.
But Jesus came and touched them. "Arise," and said, "do not be afraid!"
When they looked, they did not see anyone, except Jesus alone.
When they go out of the the mountain, Jesus warned them, "Do not tell anyone what you saw before, before the Son of Man is raised from the dead."
Followers of Jesus asked him, "Why religious teachers say that Elijah must come first?"
Jesus replied, "true Elijah will come and he would take care of everything.
But I say to you, Elijah has come, but people do not know him, they treat him like enemy. And same also they will treat the Son of Man. "
Then his followers understand that Jesus spoke about John the Baptist.
