Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple; and his disciples came up to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
And Jesus said to them, "Do you see all these? Truly I say to you that there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down."
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things occur? And what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?" [Note! In verse 34 below Jesus says: ALL of the next discourse of end times prophecies will be fulfilled before that generation died, proving his 2nd appearance, the tribulations, the end of the world, and the Kingdom are all a personal experience of the purified believer!]
And Jesus answered and said to them, "Take heed that no man deceives you.
For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am Christ;' and will deceive many.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in many places.
All these are only the beginning of sorrows.
Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted, and will kill you; and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
Then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and hate one another.
Many false prophets will rise, and will deceive many. [Christendom's ministers are the false prophets Jesus warns about. Deceiving billions, they promise heaven to anyone who believes, leaving them slaves to their sins until destructive death. When you see how Christendom is nothing but Babylon, you will be both sad and angry: Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination, 'Hear the word of the LORD,' Because they have seduced my people saying, 'Peace!' when there is no peace. .. you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad, and have strengthened the hands of the wicked, so that he does not return from his wicked way, by (falsely) promising him life.]
Because iniquity [sin] will increase, the love of many will turn cold.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then the end will come.
Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand),1
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountain [Christ].
Let he who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house.
Neither let he who in the field return back to take his clothes.
And woe to those who are with child, and to those who are nursing in those days!
But pray that your flight is not in the winter or on the Sabbath day.
For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be again.
And except those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.
Then if any man says to you, 'Lo, here is Christ,' or 'There he is;' do not believe it. [Or they say, "Come to our sect; the Spirit is strong here."]
For there will arise false Christs and prophets, and will show great signs and wonders; so much that, if it were possible, they would deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before.
Therefore if they say to you, 'Behold, he is in the desert,' do not go forth; or 'Behold, he is in the secret chambers,' do not believe it. [Or, they say, "he is in our sect's building; come join our sect."]
For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines to the west; so also will the coming of the Son of man be. [And so (like we heard God's voice from heaven on the mount) we have the more sure prophetic word [the word in your heart]; to which you do well to pay attention, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 2 Pet 1:19. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Rev 22:16. If you extend your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall rise in darkness, and your darkness will be like the noon day. Isa 58:10.]
Wherever the dead body is, there the vultures will be gathered together.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Now learn the parable of the fig tree: When its branch is still tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
So likewise, when you shall see all these things occur, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass, until all these things are fulfilled.2
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
But of that day and hour no man knows, no, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
As the days of Noah were, so also will the days be at the coming of the Son of man.
For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage - until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
They had no idea of pending trouble until the flood came and took them all away; so also shall the coming of the Son of man be.
Then two people will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and the other left.
Watch therefore! For you do not know at what hour your Lord comes.
But know this, that if the owner of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
Therefore you also be ready; for in an hour you do not expect, the Son of man comes.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them their food at the proper time?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord finds so doing when he comes.
Truly I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.
But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My lord is delayed in his coming;'
And begins to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant will come in a day when he does not look for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
And he will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
